Greetings to the Malvern, Strahan and Wesley Chapel UMC families and anyone else that would like to join us!
I’m so glad to be able to extend to you this invitation to our adult Advent online group study of Adam Hamilton’s new book,
Incarnation: Rediscovering the Significance of Christmas.
This year’s Advent and Christmas seasons will be very different from what most of us are used to. But God’s love for us and for the world in Jesus Christ remains constant.
I hope that you will make the decision to explore and celebrate that love with us in our online group!
If you decide to join us, please register for the study by replying through this website at MORE->CONTACT and click on Pastor Joni’s email button. Please provide your email address when you register.
I have ordered 20 books (no large print), and they should be here by November 23rd. You can obtain your copy of Adam Hamilton’s book Incarnation: Rediscovering the Significance of Christmas, by picking them up at the Malvern church office or Strahan church basement when they become available, or order the book yourself and have it shipped from Cokesbury at this link:
Large print versions are available from Cokesbury. The regular print books are $12.00. The large print versions run a bit more. If you pick up a book at the church and would like to write a check, it should be made payable to the Malvern UMC.
Here are the meeting details for our study:
WHEN: Sunday, November 29, and then each Thursday during Advent – December 3, December 10 and December 17 at 7:00 p.m. Central
PLATFORM: I have chosen the platform Zoom for our virtual meetings. MEETING LINK: The first meeting link will be emailed to you prior to our first study, and you will receive a second link to use for all of the Thursday night studies.
If you have any questions about the study or virtual meetings before our first session, please contact me through my contact information on this website. I look forward to our time together during this Advent season.
