CHURCH BUILDING RENOVATION 2020
Exciting Announcement!
On March 9, 2020, the members of the Strahan United Methodist Church voted to proceed with plans to renovate the building. The plan is to take off the current entryway and replace it with one that is twice as wide and the entire depth of the church. This will give us a lift for accessibility to both the sanctuary and the basement fellowship hall, two handicapped accessible restrooms, more storage downstairs, more sanctuary space upstairs, and a larger gathering area / lobby. The next steps will be to collect bids from contractors and raise the money.
Building will not begin until funds are raised. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic negatively affecting the economy, we are not doing a major fundraising campaign right now. However, donations are welcome and encouraged at any time. Any gift is appreciated!
